Relative concentrations of major mono- and sesquiterpenes of A. artemisiifolia var. elatior in response to ambient (389 ± 2.55 ppm) and elevated (802 ± 2.69 ppm) CO2 treatment. The effects of CO2 on the relative concentration of a β-myrcene, b dl-limonene, c 1,3,6-octatriene, d β-caryophyllene and e germacrene-D were determined. Asterisk denotes that relative concentration was obtained from the ratio of the peak area of the analyte to that of the internal standard. Values are means ± standard error. Bars not connected by the same letter are significantly different (p < 0.05)
